TEZARACT Social Impact Foundation
Fundraising, Transparency and Safeguarding Policy
Effective date: 18 September 2026
1. About the Foundation
TEZARACT Social Impact Foundation is the name used for TEZARACT’s social-impact initiative.
Unless registration details are expressly displayed, TEZARACT Social Impact Foundation is not a registered charity. We raise awareness, identify responsible charitable partners and direct supporters to independently operated donation pages.
2. How donations work
TEZARACT does not receive, hold, withdraw, transfer or distribute donations.
Donations are completed through GoFundMe or an official donation service operated for the named charitable partner. Funds are processed and delivered according to the platform’s terms and the receiving charity’s policies.
TEZARACT will only promote campaigns where:
-
The beneficiary is clearly identified.
-
Donations are directed to an established charitable organisation.
-
TEZARACT does not control the charity’s bank account.
-
The intended purpose of the campaign is accurately explained.
-
Safeguarding and security risks have been considered.
3. Fees and Gift Aid
TEZARACT does not deduct a commission, administration charge or percentage from donations.
GoFundMe, payment processors or charitable partners may deduct transaction, currency-conversion or administrative fees. Where applicable, these will be explained on the relevant donation page.
Gift Aid is only available where the receiving organisation and donation method meet the relevant UK requirements.
4. Selecting charitable partners
Before featuring a campaign, we aim to review:
-
The organisation’s legal or charitable registration.
-
Its publicly available leadership and governance information.
-
Recent financial reports or transparency records.
-
Evidence that the programme is active.
-
Its safeguarding and privacy practices.
-
How donations will be used and reported.
-
Any significant sanctions, fraud or reputational concerns.
Being featured by TEZARACT does not constitute a permanent endorsement. Campaigns may be suspended or removed if new concerns arise.
5. Fundraising claims
We aim to ensure that campaign descriptions, targets and impact statements are accurate and supported by information from the charitable partner.
We will not guarantee that a donation funds a particular person, school or item unless the receiving charity has confirmed that donations are restricted for that purpose.
Where donations support a wider programme, this will be stated clearly. If information changes or an error is identified, we will correct the campaign as soon as reasonably possible.
6. Safeguarding
The safety and dignity of affected communities take priority over publicity.
We will not knowingly publish:
-
Identifiable images of vulnerable children without appropriate consent.
-
The locations of protected classrooms or shelters.
-
Information that could expose students, educators or aid workers to danger.
-
Images or stories obtained through exploitation, coercion or deception.
Where necessary, names, faces, locations and environmental details will be removed, changed or represented through anonymous artwork.
7. Relationships and conflicts of interest
Any financial, professional or personal relationship between TEZARACT and a featured organisation will be disclosed.
TEZARACT will not accept undisclosed payments for featuring a charitable cause. Any sponsorship or matched-funding arrangement will be clearly identified.
8. Campaign updates
Where information is available, TEZARACT will publish:
-
The total amount raised.
-
The named recipient organisation.
-
Relevant platform fees or deductions.
-
Confirmation that funds were delivered by the fundraising platform.
-
Impact updates supplied by the charitable partner.
Updates may be limited where disclosure could create safeguarding or security risks.
9. Refunds and disputes
TEZARACT cannot issue refunds because it does not process or hold donations.
Refund requests, payment disputes and chargebacks must be submitted to GoFundMe, the relevant payment provider or the recipient charity under their respective terms.
10. Personal information
TEZARACT does not receive donors’ complete payment-card or banking information.
Any personal information submitted directly through our website—for example, through a contact form or newsletter registration—will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.
We will not sell donor information.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and provide a substantive response within 20 working days where reasonably possible.
Complaints concerning a payment or donation should normally be directed to the platform or charity that processed it.
11. Policy review
This policy will be reviewed at least annually and whenever TEZARACT’s legal structure, fundraising activity or payment arrangements materially change.
